About Jack Hinks

Founded on Honesty.
Built on Results.

The Hinks Clinic was founded by sports therapist Jack Hinks after years of seeing patients mis-sold unnecessary treatments just to boost clinic profits.

After graduating with a degree in Sports Therapy in 2017, Jack spent six years working in a busy multidisciplinary health clinic managing complex chronic injuries alongside acute and sports injuries. He has worked pitch-side in football, run injury prevention and strength & conditioning sessions for cricket, golf, running and rugby athletes, and developed a particular passion for lower limb injuries and the latest research in rehabilitation.

The result is a clinic built on a simple promise: only what you genuinely need, when you need it. Honesty before upselling. Every time.

What Our Clients Say

Simple. Honest. Results.

Real words from real clients. No scripts, no incentives.

★★★★★

Jack is excellent. He’s very knowledgeable, understanding and supportive. He’s an excellent physio and has helped me so much relieving my sciatica pain. He uses acupuncture and massage which are very effective. I feel so much better and more positive that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel of pain. (Which was horrendous.)

Joanna Lloyd
★★★★★

Jack is very knowledgeable. He really knows what works and has pretty much cured my TMJ. The ongoing treatment for my neck and shoulders has been excellent.

Adam Raybould
★★★★★

I received treatment for a calf muscle injury that was preventing me from playing basketball. The massage and EMS treatment Jack gave me, as well as the exercises to aid recovery, led to a quick and lasting recovery. Jack clearly has an excellent knowledge and ability in his field. Thanks Jack.

Mike Steel
★★★★★

Only the best. Highly recommended. Totally trustworthy. After several years of back problems Jack was the only person who helped diagnose my real problem (hip replacement due to bone on bone). I will always be in Jack’s debt. I’m now totally free of pain.

David Clibborn

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No referral is needed. You can book directly online through the booking system above. If you’re unsure which treatment is right for you, select an Initial Assessment and Jack will advise you at your first appointment.
Your initial assessment typically lasts around 60 minutes. Jack will take a full history of your injury or condition, carry out a physical assessment, and explain his findings clearly. He’ll then discuss your treatment options honestly — including whether he can help you, or whether you’d be better served by another specialist.
Most clients describe a mild ache or brief twitch sensation as the needle reaches a trigger point — this is normal and is usually a sign it’s working. The needles are very fine and discomfort is typically short-lived. Jack will always explain what to expect beforehand and can adjust based on your preference.
Most conditions respond well within 3 to 6 sessions, typically delivered weekly or fortnightly. Jack will give you an honest estimate at your first appointment based on your specific condition and how it responds. You won’t be booked for more sessions than are clinically justified.
The Hinks Clinic operates from Chase Leisure Centre, Stafford Road, Cannock, WS11 4AL. It’s easily accessible with on-site parking available at the leisure centre.
Yes! Gift cards for any treatment at The Hinks Clinic are available to buy online — a great present for someone who could benefit from sports therapy or massage. You can purchase them through the booking system or via the gift card link on this page.
Yes — if you’re booking sports massage and don’t have a specific injury, you can go straight to a massage appointment. Choose 30 minutes for upper or lower body, or 60 minutes for a full body session. If you have an injury or are unsure, always start with an Initial Assessment.
